Bourne End Library, Wakeman Rd, Bourne End SL8 5SX

The 5th Annual Bourne End Junior Craft Show is on Saturday 7 October and is the brainchild of Sue and Amy Croall which started with craft classes in Bourne End library during October 2012.

Amy, who loves to enter arts and crafts competitions realised, along with her Mum Sue, that there was a need for regular classes and a competition, so after speaking with Inka at the Library, the organising began. The Bourne End Horticultural show generously offered their “Penny Walsh Cup” which is presented to the Judge’s Favourite entry each year.

There is no entry fee and you can enter as many times as you like, so with 4 age groups and 5 categories for entries there is a competition to suit everyone including sketching, knitting, photography, collage and more.

So, here is what you need to do…create your masterpiece and take it along to the library between 9.30 - 11 am on 7 October so your entry can be placed into the correct class prior to judging.

Judging takes place between 11:30 - 12:30 pm.  Between 12 - 2pm the show is open to the public for viewing.  Refreshments will be available & Prize giving is at 1.15pm.

Good luck!
