1. You must be a member to be elected to the Council
2. If you are a member you are entitled to attend the annual AGM and Extraordinary General Meetings and vote on any changes to the articles of WFSL and any other matters proposed by the Council or its members.
3. A member is in effect a shareholder of WFSL although, as a Company limited by guarantee, there are no shares.
4. Every member of WFSL, in the event of the WFSL being wound up, while he/she is a member, or within one year after he/she ceases to be a member, undertakes to contribute to the assets of the WFSL an amount as may be required not exceeding £10, for payment of the debts and liabilities of the WFSL contracted before he/she ceases to be a member, and of the costs, charges and expenses of winding up, and for the adjustment of the rights of the contributories among themselves.
